Where the data comes from. State entries are seeded from legislative research, then verified field-by-field against the enrolled bill text (the official final law). Until a field passes that check it renders as "under review."
How the certification watch works. An automated check runs daily against certification and industry sources. A possible certification then gets an adversarial verification pass -- an independent check that actively tries to refute it against the primary source -- before anything is published or any alert is sent. "Compliant," "tested to," and "designed to meet" do not count; only certified does.
Tools and honesty. The pipeline is AI-assisted with review, and this page will always say so. The registry data is open; agents can read /llms.txt and /v1/states. If we get something wrong, tell us and the correction ships with a changelog entry.
